Whispers of Wealth: The Thorpes Family Mystery<\/p>

The Thorpes Family was scattered all across Europe \u2013 London, Prague, Stockholm, Barcelona, and some were even found in a small Greek island town called Kissamos. They didn\u2019t communicate a lot, and, frankly, they also didn\u2019t have a lot in common.<\/p>

Once a year, however, during the summer break, they were forced to meet \u2013 and even worse: to talk. It was the family\u2019s patriarch\u2019s request that every family member would gather in their family home on a rather small island in the Mediterranean Sea. Nobody talked about it, but everyone new: If you wanted to inherit a bit of the Thorpes Family\u2019s wealth, you\u2019d better come to Isola Serenamare.<\/p>

The visit stretched sheer endlessly, every year, a surreal sequence of too-formal dinners and too-informal nightly gatherings, when the patriarch was sound asleep. Every year, the family members whispered about the patriarch\u2019s death. Wasn\u2019t it time for that? Couldn\u2019t they get a piece of the cake and leave this forsaken island behind for good?<\/p>

Every year, however, the patriarch looked old and ill\u2026 but alive.
And then somebody died. Only\u2026 it was not who the people expected to die. And the mumbling, jealous set of relatives suddenly became the suspects in a murder investigation.<\/p>
