Most of our murder mystery games can be played with a minimum of eight players. Some games can be played with six players.<\/p>

Unsolved cases can be played solo or in groups. Our recommendation is to have up to four players for the best experience. If you have more players, you might want to print the materials twice or more times, or share the digital files with players so everyone can read the evidence without having to wait for their turn.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Yes, if you are the Host and want to play the game, you can do it without knowing who the murderer is. The name of the Victim and the Murderer is not included in the Host Guide right for this purpose. You will only know who are the required minimum characters, and both the Victim and the Murderer are among them, but you will not know who they are.<\/p>

Make sure you don\u2019t read the Character Cards, as they contain this information. They should be printed out and put in envelopes, or even better have someone help you with this.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

In Murder Mystery Games, the information on who the Victim is can be found in Round 2 Required Character Cards, while the information about the Murderer can be found in Round 5 Required Character Cards.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

All of the games, except a few that were made for some special occasion, have expansion packs \u2013 usually up to 30 players in total. You can find the expansion packs on the game page, just below the game.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

There is no age restriction, although we would suggest to have 13+ years old players for the Adult games. On the other hand, we also offer Kids and Teens games which can be played by even younger kids. These games are \u201cclean\u201d mysteries meaning there is no murder, sex, drugs or alcohol, and the clues are also simpler.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

No, the games are not scripted. Players get their information, secrets, clues and they decide when with whom they will share them. There might be some very small scripted parts, but these are usually just suggestions.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

You should always use all of the required characters. After that, you should first use all of the characters in one group (i.e. 11-15), before moving to the subsequent group of characters (i.e. 16-20). But if you plan to use just a few characters from one group, not all of them, then you can choose which ever from that group of characters.<\/p>

For example, if you have 18 guests, you will use all character cards from the 8-10 and 11-15 character sets, and two character cards from the 16-20 set.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Plan 2-3.5 hours for the game, plus time to eat, but it largely depends on your guests. You, as a Host, decide when the time is to move to next Round, that is when you think all necessary information was shared. If your guests are engaged and excited about the game, they could mingle and share their clues and information faster than if your guests are not so engaged.<\/p>
